BetVictor is one of the most established bookmakers, having been launched back in 1946 in the UK. The brand has undergone several rebrands over the years since starting out as Victor Chandler over 75 years ago. In 2004, the name was changed to ‘VCBet’ before reverting back to Victor Chandler and then eventually to BetVictor in 2012.

The bookmaker was founded by William Chandler who owned a greyhound track in London. It was run as a family run business for several decades with Chandler's sons and other family members taking the reins following his passing in 1946. In May 2014, the company was acquired by businessman Michael Tabor who is the current owner.

BetVictor has a huge presence in Europe and has sponsored several high-profile sporting events over the years including the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, the Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot as well as the Welsh Open snooker championship and the World Matchplay darts.

Opening An Account

Cash Out

BetVictor make it as easy as possible for customers to cash out their bets by providing a dedicated ‘Cash Out’ section. Log into your account and if you have any open bets that are eligible to be cashed out, you’ll find them by clicking on the Cash Out tab.

For each bet, customers have the option to either fully cash out their bet or partially cash it out. If you choose to accept the full cash out amount, your bet will be settled and the pre-agreed cash amount will be credited to your account. However, if you choose to partially cash out your bet, you can select how much of the cash out amount you would like to bank and the rest will remain on the bet and it will continue to run.

Acca Insurance

If you bet on soccer then a great reason to do so with BetVictor is their Acca Insurance offer.

Place an accumulator consisting of 5 or more selections and if just one of those legs fails to win, BetVictor will refund your stake up to a maximum of $10.

It’s a great offer and one that can result in some unexpected returns on losing bets.

BetVictor customers have access to thousands of live streams of sporting events throughout the year. All the live streams are available via the ‘In-Play’ tab with sports such as Horse Racing, Soccer, E-Sports, Basketball, Table Tennis and others available to watch.

If you head to the ‘In-Play’ section of the website or app, any events that have a stream available will display a PLAY icon alongside them. Simply click on the icon and the stream will load. You do not have to place a bet or pay to access any of the streams, except for horse racing, and streams are optimised for all devices including desktops, mobile phones and tablets.

BetVictor has a great website and thankfully, an app to match. You can access the website on mobile using a browser but using the app is a much quicker way of accessing your account and everything that BetVictor provides.
